Smart Casual Listed Every Day.

My husband and I are on the Nieuw Statendam on February 4-11 of this year.  When I look at the itinerary it shows every day as Smart Casual.  Is this an error and will it change? This is only my second Holland America cruise and the last was over 20 years ago.  I am trying to plan my wardrobe choices.  😎

Yes, it will update closer to departure.  On a 7 day cruise there are usually 2 'Dressy Nights', a bit of glam and glitter but nothing excessive these days.  Collared shirt for men.

We had the same notice before our cruise last fall and it did update to include two dressy nights. I can't remember how far in advance it was.

I may not be remembering this correctly, but on my last cruise (14 days), the first dressy night showed up about 2 weeks prior to the cruise, but the second one didn't show up until after the cruise was underway.

Sometimes the daily activity schedule fills out early, and even though every night says Smart Casual, you may note that there is something like "have your dressy photo taken" just before dinner. Those will be the dressy nights.
