Stop offering

Does anyone know if and when NCL stops offering or selling staterooms on cruises or do they offer them all the way up to the departure date?
Usually as long as the ship is not full one can book up to 3 or 4 days prior to sailing. The line has to have enough time to clear everyone. there was a time when you could go to the pier and try to get on the day of sailing. These were great prices and a fun way to sail; 9/11 changed that. NMnita

I just was not sure how they handle it..thanks to you now I do! I know the cruise I will be taking next month has lots of staterooms left in just about every category and wondered if they would be offering any up sells or upgrades and try and fill the upper decks up.
