Fun Match used for another cruise line to match??

Hello all,

For the last half of the 2023 and currently, every month I receive a free suite, $500 funplay credit, plus free drinks for me and a companion in the casino, for status matching with my casino cards.

Right now, my family and I are currently in Europe for work/military.  There are a few cruises that we might be able to go on during the summer,  but it will be tight.

Has anyone used this offer or their casino status cards/offers to receive a free cruise on other cruise lines?  Preferably Mediterranean cruises?

I am trying to find a cruise for February (last minute I know), possibly end of March/early April and/or during the summer time.  We can fly/drive/train to the ports in Europe, preferably a Mediterranean cruise.

I have tried URComped, but they never got back in a timely fashion and  wanted more information after I sent a bunch of info to them already.

Thank you for any information possible!

I get casino offers for free cruises on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Princess, so I'm somewhat versed in the cruise line casino world.  I have never heard of anyone getting cruise casino offers matched directly through another cruise line.

I used URComped once, to get a free cruise from Celebrity based on offers from other lines I had sent them, but I had to cancel the week before due to a death in the family.  So I can say they are legit.  When they're pretty much the only game in town to get free cruise offers matched by other cruise lines, you have to play by their rules and on their timeframe.

Thank you for your response.  The free cruise offers that you receive, are they strictly from the amount of cruises you have been on?  And/or the play in the casinos when you're on the cruise?

Just trying to find out if any other cruise line has a similar program to Carnival as in using your casino status with land based casinos to receive free/discounted cruises?

I will try to reach back out to URComped possibly as well.

Thanks again.

Thank you for the information. May I ask what you received from them?  Also, did you mention your offer with Carnival as well?

Thank you.

I was able to use my Caesars Diamond Plus card for cruises on Holland at https://oceanplayersclub.com/hollandamericamatch

But OP has free crise offers, not a loyalty tier level/card, because CCL and (to the best of my knowledge) the other Carnival Corp brands don't have published casino loyalty tier levels that you could use you demonstrate your level of play.

The same company runs Ocean Players Club and the casinos for all the Carnival Corp brands.  Honestly I don't think they're chomping at the bit to poach players from one Carnival Corp brand to another.  If they were ínterested in doing that, they already have OP's play history on CCL.

I have never taken a cruise before, so I don't have any play history.  I just have the loyalty cards from the casino's that I used for the Carnival Fun Match, which got me the free suite, $500 play and free drinks in the casino for two.

If I sent my information to Holland, would I mention the offer I got from Carnival?  Or would I just submit my casino cards and go from there?

Then if the offer is below Carnival's, would I then mention my offer from Carnival to see if they would match?

Thank you.

I would just send your land-based casino cards.  If that doesn't persuade them, I don't sending in your Carnival, because like I said I don't think they interested in poaching players from one Carnival Corp brand to another.

Plus the more premium Carnival Corp lines (like Princess and Holland l) are going to want to see higher play than Carnival to comp you comparable rooms to what Carnival is offering.  For example I get offers for up to free balconies on Carnival and Royal but only interiors on Princess.

Hi there! Most major cruise lines that you'd know from the US don't cruise Europe/Med until the late spring into the summer which makes your February goal even tighter, so before you go crazy trying to get something matched make sure you know what lines/itineraries are available to you.

Its way more than i get from Carnival in terms of cabin selection and OBC and i only play onboard so they should already know my playing history without a land based casino card.

Offers from "FunMatch" are based on your land casino status.  They know the gambling habits of all high status land casino player clubs.  A MGM Noir level is going to get a juicy offer.
