Less active adventures in Cozumel and Progreso

Well, I had foot surgery in November, and the surgeon told me our tour of Uxmal would be too much walking. So now we’re looking at other options that might allow a few more opportunities to sit and rest. I can walk, just not the 1.5-2 miles a tour of Mayan ruins would require.

Has anyone taken the Cozumel City Tour by Trolley (CZ101)? Or, from Progreso, the Merida City Tour and Shopping (PGO15) or the Scenic Photo Tour and Foodie Experience (PGO19)?

You might be better off asking this in the Cozumel board under Port Adventures.

Thanks, I did! I figured I’d get general information on the Cozumel forum, maybe more specific info re DCL’s offerings here. Ultimately we decided to stay on the ship in Cozumel, and we booked a bus tour of Merida for Progreso day.

It isn't booked via Disney but it is super easy to get a taxi to Paradise Beach Club. We really enjoyed our time there. It wasn't crowded and included all your drinks and food for one set price. My sister and BIL got a massage for like a third of what you would pay on the ship. The differentiator for this beach club is all the food is served to you by waiters and ordered via a menu. Open air buffets always give me the creeps.
