SS cruise cancellation

Friends have just been advised their Silver Moon Doha-Mumbai on 26 Jan has been cancelled. 

We were looking at some Seabourn specials a few days ago and wondering how likely they would be given the ports. Sounds like a lot more itinerary changes to come.

There is ZERO chance I'd book a new Red Sea or Persian Gulf cruise in 2024!  I see you are in Australia not US so maybe things look different from where you are but with missiles being launched at US Navy ships US companies with US lawyers like Carnival, RCCL, and NCL aren't going to send ships with a lot of US citizen passengers anywhere near there. But they could surprise all of us.

I had a Regent Cruise - Dubai to Singapore booked for Dec 2024, and have cancelled it.  For me, it's just not worth the angst.  I'll go some other time (hopefully).  This is all so reminiscent of the early Covid days.
