CocoCay (Sales Tax)

Very strange question, and I am not sure that anyone CC would even know the answer... 
Why would there be sales taxes on excursions at CoCoCay?

Since the excursions occur from or in The Bahamas a sales tax is required under that county's laws.

I would understand that if there was a Sales Tax on excursions in Nassau too... but there is not
