Twisted Teas and Mikes on NCL

[Islands and Cruising]

We are traveling on the Escape this February and the dw wants to know if either of these are available on the ship.

I have asked this before and for some reason they do not. The young adults in my cruise group get bummed out on this.

yes, this is a lapse on NCL's part, as they ordinarily cater to the contemporary cruiser.

You really need to find a different cruise line since nothing NCL does suits you.

We are still waiting officially who exactly is the "contemporary cruiser".   Trying to figure out if my two young adult children, who are experienced cruisers, fall into this category.   I think not so since they do appreciate the broadway style shows, will not go to the new game shows, would appreciate a Twisted Tea or Mikes, and most of all absolutely love the Vibe.

i think it's kind of like that old axiom... if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it.

 

if you have to ask for the definition of contemporary cruiser, you're probably not one.

 

on the other hand, as jeff foxworthy always used to say, if you hate buffets and love game shows, you might be a contemporary cruiser!

I believe they have Truly which truthfully I cannot stand. So there is a spiked seltzer type option but not a good one.

@Islands and Cruising Welcome to cruise critic.

 

Most bars, from what I recall, have iced tea.  Just ask them to add vodka or whatever.  One of my favs is adding Malibu to iced tea with a splash of Cointreau.  It goes down real easy.
