Transportation from port in Willemstad?

Hi, I’m cruising next week. We have a dolphin swim booked through the Dolphin Academy at the Curaçao Sea Aquarium. It’s not through the cruise line, so there’s no shuttle. What would be the best way to get from the port to our location? Are taxis easily available? Is there anything to watch out for or definitely NOT do?

I cam here to ask the same thing. I want to take a taxi from cruise port to Grote Knip. When I look online, all it does is bring me to  a sold out viator excursion for $100. There's got to be a way to just take a taxi there??? Are there reliable taxi stands/options at the port?

The Aquarium is near Mambo beach, not too far,  and a common destination. 

Grote Knip is all the way the top of the island, will be a pretty expensive cab ride - probably over $100 each way. 

 

There will be plenty of cabs, very reliable.

From what I understand Grote Knip is worth it?
