bobpell Posted January 20 #1 Share Posted January 20 When can you book a Princess excursion? 6 months, or 3 months ahead of your cruise?? Bob
jean-lynd Posted January 20 #2 Share Posted January 20 We booked ours a little over 6 months before. I just looked at them again yesterday and all of the prices have gone up so I am glad we booked early. I hope this helps!
Sarnia 432 Posted January 20 #3 Share Posted January 20 Often available straight after booking
Mud_Shark Posted January 20 #4 Share Posted January 20 Sometimes takes a little while to populate the list of excursions on some itineraries, but others are available well over a year out.
Rare Rick&Jeannie Posted January 20 #5 Share Posted January 20 You can book an excursion immediately after booking. As @Mud_Shark stated, every excursion *might* not show up if the cruise is far out...but whatever is shown can be booked right then.

nini Posted January 20 #7 Share Posted January 20 AS SOON AS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO!!!! You can always cancel of you find a different company to book with. Many private companies book up 6 months ahead!
TheDawg79 Posted January 20 #8 Share Posted January 20 (edited) I have some booked 18 months in advance. By waiting you are risking two things: price increase and selling out. If something populates later, simply cancel and rebook. There is no benefit to waiting. Edited January 20 by TheDawg79
MacMadame Posted January 21 #9 Share Posted January 21 When I first booked my cruise, no excursions were available. But very soon after, they were except for one port (which is still not available less than slightly less than a year out). So I booked a Jan 25 cruise in July 23 and booked Princess excursions in Sept 23 (so about 16 months out).

If you have to pay for the excursion with a CC, and you cancel, will they refund immediately on your card or do they just give OBC (which we don't need. TheDawg79 Posted January 21 #11 Share Posted January 21 It won’t be immediate. It may take a week or two to show up on your statement.
Sarnia 432 Posted January 22 #12 Share Posted January 22 If you wait to cancel until you are onboard, it will go on your shipboard account as refundable OBC.
