Beverage package- Half Moon Cay?

Recommended Posts

Wondering if there will be an option to purchase a one day beverage package for Half Moon Cay on my upcoming cruise on the Statendam in March? We have the basic beverage package with our Have It All package and I know that won’t apply on Half Moon Cay.

Usually you can. We missed HMC in December, so I can't be sure if they're still doing it. They always have done it in the past.

Where would it be advertised @POA1?  Would it be in the daily newsletter or maybe a flyer put in the room?

Just ask a bartender onboard- they will be glad to sell it to you…. Plus I think it gets them ‘a bonus’.

Thanks, but how much is the one day (5-6 hour) Half Moon Key drink package?  I've seen the sign for it but have searched all over the board here and can't find it!!

The last time we bought it was pre shutdown, so just like everything else, I’m sure it is significantly higher now.   We paid $39.pp and  I don’t think they started bar service until 10 or 10:30.  . .    Someone else will likely have more recent experience that has been cruising Caribbean and been to HMC.

Normally it's advertised with signs. However, the weather was definitely going to be bad on our sailing, so I didn't see any notice.

In the past, the break even point was ~4 cocktails or 5 beers. That's hard to do if you are there from 8-2. If you have a long day there, it's a decent value - but only if you are committed to drinking on the beach. I honestly don't think we got the HMC beverages in close to 20 years. We're good for a drink or two on the island, but that's about it.
