JackieM Posted January 22 #1 Share Posted January 22 Our cruise will dock at Pigeon Island. What options are there for tours leaving from the area? The 2 of us prefer a smaller group size with moderate activity. Thanks

There will be some tour guides/providers outside the park offering tours - Soufriere/Pitons, Rodney Bay, etc. And there's taxi drivers that will take you wherever you want to go If you're wanting to see Soufriere and the Pitons, expect the drive to take a solid 90 minutes from PI. You'll have to get through Castries traffic, easily 30 minutes without any bad traffic or other ships in port - more like 45 when there's another boat or any type of slowdown, and then the drive is a solid 60 minutes from there. Plan accordingly. Consider a water taxi trio instead with someone like Shashamane Water Taxi or Israel King Water Taxi or Saluna Watersports or Spencer Ambrose or Joe Knows or Joy's or such.. it'll cost more, but no traffic issues at all. Up north, Pigeon Island is a national park with ruins, hikes, restaurants, beach. There's zip line, aerial tram, ATV, horseback riding, splash park, chocolate experience, rum distillery, etc all up north to enjoy if you prefer.. Depends what you're wanting to see or experience while in St Lucia...
