Can you twin the king beds in suites?

It has been several years since I was on a Celebrity ship.  When I was, in a Royal Suite, I was disappointed to learn that the king bed could not be twinned.  This was on a Millennium class ship. Is that still the case for Celebrity suites?  What about for the ships that are newer than Millennium class?

TIA

Was just on Celebrity Beyond and when we were first considering upgrading (originally had an Aqua Sky Suite that does split into twins) we were told anything from the Royal Suite on up would not separate due to the design of nightstands built into the wall versus one you can pick up and move in between the twin beds.
