Yes! I went straight to reservations and was able to book everything. We even got two nights of Hibachi. With an extra cost of course. I would suggest doing it first thing. We are now enjoying lunch at Giovanni’s.

Our balcony is just the standard balcony. I don’t know if I packed less or if we just have more storage. I’m loving the storage above the bed. We have been on Anthem. Im not sure if they didn’t have it or I didn’t notice it.

For the Diamonds out there. We have full access this week. I know this is important to some folks so I wanted to report. We only use it in the morning to retrieve fruit cups for Wolf. We wouldn’t really care either way.

It looks like sail away was a miss. I was getting my hair done. I explained to Dupable that she would be responsible for capturing the moment. We talked about it for like 5 minutes. I found her in the Chiefs Super Bowl room when I was done. It seems she couldn’t be bothered with sail away with the Super Bowl about to start. Go Chiefs! 

She went to the Super Bowl party assuming they would have tailgate food out. I think she got that misinformation from Facebook. 😮‍💨

 

The party seems pretty tame so far. Hopefully once the game gets going it will get wild.

So much going on! Best Live I have read in ages. Is Mr. IT going to be making steaks for Wolf's dog all week? How was your dog doing when you left? This is gonna be one hell of a week with your out-of-pocket travel mates! And even though this is CC, you can assure Dupable that many of us enjoy all of the shenanigans that lead up to cruise day!

My voice is gone but I have a lot to talk about. Go chiefs! What a game. I’m sure most of you watched all of it. I didn’t, I saw it go into overtime and then I saw the chiefs win. It was so exciting. I went to the 49ers room. You know I was the loudest ***** there. I think the end of that game was my most exciting of the evening. Amazing!

I didn’t know but I’m famous. Notorious, unforgettable, all the things famous people are. That’s right. I walked into the casino this evening and they knew me. It is a bunch of the crew from my time on Oasis earlier this year. I’m a full blown celebrity! So much fun!

Yes, exactly like the Anthem OV balcony...the overhead storage cabinet. Not that I can ever use them, I'm too short to reach up in there! 😝

I’m have no idea what I was thinking when I signed up for a 7:30 am Pickleball lesson with Dupable.

I had such a great time last night. So great that I’m still a little drunk this morning. Pickleball should be interesting. 
 

I've lost some of my voice. No more screaming for me. Not that I have any form of self control, when I try no sound comes out.

We have made it to Coco Cay. The Wonder of the seas is pulling her fat ass in to join us. Weather is looking okay so far. We have partly cloudy skies and hardly any wind at the moment.

Following up 12 hours straight of drinking with Pickleball is not a good idea. I lasted 30 minutes until I looked and felt like a drowned rat. All that liquor started pouring out of my pores the second I started running around the court. 
 

Dupable and Good Sport are 1 hour and 15 minutes in. Good sport is well taking it like a sport. Dupable started begging me at the 45 minute mark to fake an emergency. 🤣🤣

We have made it to the beach club. The weather is nice just a little breezy. We have blue skies.
 

When we were exiting the ship they insisted we had to get towels. I even said we are going to the beach club and he still said we had to get them from the ship. I shouldn’t have listened they have towels here. Now we have to lug a bunch of towels around with us that we didn’t need.
 

We will just be lounging until our lunch at noon.

We tried to do that last we were there and they wouldn’t let us. We didn’t try this time though.

Let’s do a little rant session. I say little because my complaints are pretty minimal. 
 

1. My bathroom has a very loud buzzing sound. I can’t hear it on the bed side of the room as long as we keep the bathroom door closed.

2. Our room is located aft starboard at the very end. It is a very very long walk to our room. I feel like this is because of where they placed the two elevator banks.

3. The pillows are awful. I mentioned this to Dupable and she agreed. I will not be using those the rest of my trip. If our room steward can’t find me something else I’ll just roll up some towels or clothing and use it as a pillow. I’ve never had a problem with the pillows on a cruise before.
4. If you want to have an unpleasant encounter then go ahead and charge at me when I’m trying to exit the elevators. 
5. The casino is smaller than I expected.

Lunch at the Beach Club was nice. We all enjoyed it. We were really hungry when we sat down. This was my second time having lunch there. Each time I thought my food was overcooked. This time I got the grouper. The flavor was okay but it was really dry. The piece I got was really thin so that might have had something to do with it.

Dinner was in Chops. No food porn tonight. I’m trying to clean up my act!
 

I would like to hit the casino but they seem to only have the tables I want open later in the evening. We will see if I manage to stay awake long enough. My pocket book will be thankful for the lack of gambling access. If I can’t do it my way I just ain’t gonna do it.

From the moment we booked this trip and Dupable found out Wolf and I are jumping to Harmony she has been grumbling. Why is she going on the SMALL ship? I’m not even sure she knows the name of this ship. She just calls it the small ship. Good Sport joined in on her gripping once we boarded. He is upset they don’t have Central Park to sit in. They never just sit in Central Park! He is also upset that they don’t have a Johnny Rockets. He likes to get the milkshakes. Funny I’ve never seen him get one of those either.

 

They both thought they were super funny on the way down the dock this morning. They kept cracking jokes to the folks getting off The Wonder….. like… how does it feel to be on a real ship? It looks like an adult next to a small child. Our ship looks like the Wonder regurgitated it.

 

Dupable’s favorite…. Short trip, small ship. They both laughed after that one. I think a high five was even included. 🙄

I don’t remember what you booked when you boarded Odyssey. Send Dupable and Good Sport up to try North Star and iFly. Tell them they don’t have those on Wonder so they’re getting something special. The free sessions did tend to pop up on the app during the week when we were on Odyssey. Walk ups were also available because of people who didn’t show up.

Haha… I mentioned IFLY to Good Sport earlier. He showed some interest but said he hadn’t heard about it. So I turned to Dupable looking for an explanation. She said those activities don’t interest her. Apparently when something doesn’t spark her interest she just avoids sharing the information.This got an eyebrow raise from Good Sport.

So much fun tonight. Caught up with more crew that were on Oasis earlier this year. I also played blackjack with a fun group. I even got a marriage proposal!

 

The best thing I learned though was from another passenger. He takes his unused Diamond vouchers from the day and buys Fosters for the crew. He then gives them to the casino workers. How great is that?

We let Dupable set our breakfast plans this morning. I forgot from our last trip that she forgets to check the venue time. This means Dupable was up and ready to go with no where to go. I hate how Royal manages the opening time for food venues. If you have a huge mob outside waiting for you to open you are opening too late. Just sayin.
