du4mch Posted February 8 #1 Share Posted February 8 So, thinking of taking my grandson on this tour during our upcoming cruise. Has anyone done this? Is it worth the $180 per person? Do they give you anything...maybe a shirt or something? Seems awfully expensive for a tour!

Rare RobInMN Posted February 8 #3 Share Posted February 8 We did it on Symphony for $120 in 2018. For that I would say it's just within the "worth it" to me. I think I'd pass at $180. Depends on how into "behind the scenes" he is. Maybe he'll think it was the best part of the cruise, which might make it totally worth it to you 🙂 It's definitely a splurgy item and cool to do once (if you're fine with the cost). The only thing we got to take home was the All-Access tour badge and lanyard (nice lanyard as lanyards go). The badge doubles as a luggage tag!👍 🤣 I think we got some snack and a glass of sparkling wine or something in the MDR after the galley tour portion, but I don't remember for sure. From other threads, I think people have reported different "gifts" and definitely sounds like that part has gone down over time. Same with the post-galley food offering. Maybe someone who's done this more recently will give a more updated report.
