Spencer71 Posted February 14 #1 Share Posted February 14 What do you think is the absolute can't miss thing to do while we're in Barbados? We have never been before. We are two couples, about 50 years old and we like a variety of things, both unique and traditional, and we don't all have the same interests. If you've been before, let me know which tour operator you used. Thanks so much!

negn Posted February 14 #4 Share Posted February 14 Agree with above. You get to snorkel with the turtles. We did Silver Moon and the lunch was also delicious. Just be sure you are arriving in port early enough
Rare Tyler414 Posted February 25 #5 Share Posted February 25 I’m doing a silvermoonBarbados.com XL Adult lunch cruise and the email I received states to meet at terminal 1 at 8:30 sharp. They politely state if you’re not there at 8:30 they will not wait. I’m super excited!!

Think it’s sailing on a larger yacht, with more space/comfort. With regard eats, the food is always the same high quality, with XL having a slightly larger choice of premium drinks - All drinks are premium across all sailings. Spencer71 Posted April 9 Author #11 Share Posted April 9 We were on NCL Viva last week. In Barbados, we took a 4-hr custom tour with CHAT Barbados. First thing our driver Fernando did was take us to a beach near St James church in Holetown to snorkel. We had some in our group itching to do this, since it hadn't worked out the previous two days. Beach had bigger waves, but it was good. Then we went to Cherry Hill for the view, then to Huntes Garden, which was good, then Fernando dropped us off at Carlisle Bay. He did a good job of the tour. He was soft-spoken, but very friendly, laid back, and knowledgable. That was amazing, we saw turtles, stingrays, and shipwrecks. We walked back to the ship, which took about 20 minutes, just arriving within a minute of the all-aboard time. What a fun day!
