Dress code for your time dining?

Hi,all we have always done early dining, on our cruise next week we are waitlisted. Your time dining is the option we don't want to over dress. Thanks.

I've worn everything from shorts and t-shirt to slacks and button up collar dress shirt

There is no enforced dress code on Carnival anymore, at least not in the regular dining rooms.

Nope, the same.  Lido is the all causal, all the time

Except for Elegant night, nice shorts and polos are always fine. Pretty darn casual.

My last several cruises I've seen multiple people in swimwear like they just came out of the pool in the Lido restaurant. Even Walmart kicks people out who don't wear shirts. Not Carnival!

And now for some facts

 

Walmart has no policy against not wearing a shirt while shopping. However, there may be store-specific policies as well as municipalities below state laws that require shirts in public.

Got off the Dream on Sunday.  We had YTD and saw anything and everything in the Dining Room.  On “Fancy” night we wore closed toe shoes and not a T-shirt or sweatshirt.  Other days it didn’t really matter.  Very comfortable.
