For me if I purchased a package from Princess the only deal is the Princess Plus and Princess Premier. Not the Plus drink package or the Premier drink package. It's like comparing apples to watermelons. As other people have said "you need to choose what is right for you and do the math".

Exactly.  I was referring to them.  The pricing is outrageous compared to the all-inclusive cruise fare packages and make no sense other than to make the cruise fare packages look very attractive.

9. Fitness classes are $10.00 each

The prices I've seen are $20 and $30 depending on the class. These are from pics of the price list posted here on CC.

That is different in the UK. AFAIK The UK price doesn't have that 18% added

It's built into the UK £ price from the $ with 18%

On one of my bookings the standalone beverage packages are.

Today's exchange.

£62.12 == $78.88

£81.23 == $103.15

We come from a different angle as we can do cruises with little/no paid drinks.

Usual variables itinerary port to sea days time in ports ability to take stuff on convenience.

Plus  2 main things in plus are CA and beverage.

We do the casual so have value there depending on ship that have sushi and other not pizza options having seen the sushi set menu it does not fit our normal selection.

Internet access we can get cheap roaming for most itinerary and can be offline overnight sea days.

Rare we ever have room service.

Rare we use OceanNow.

Unless things have improved quicker to use bar/servers and one of our drinks is not available on the app anyway

With the £50pppd and £13 for CA that leaves £37pppd to mainly cover beverage.

We can PAYG cheaper on many cruises(oh is always a light/no drinker) which give me £60pppd.

A ship with good casual it get better and depends on number of days.

Sea day intensive like a TA we can make it work.

Now in the UK the package is on offer regularly enough to get better value.

Current UK offer is premier for plus.

My latest bookings were done  at 50% that's makes Plus £12pppd(£25-£13) and the extra on top for Premier (£65 full price ) is £7.50.

Those are well within our spend range and the convenience factor value secures.

Can keep our 1 time mini bar topped up as we go.

With the 2 speciality meals on Premier that covers the extra cost for upto 10day cruise longer and the value starts to fade but may do casual more to cover that.

YMMV.

(Sometimes I fancy a boozy cruise then it's package)
