Encore Repo

Long time lurker, first time poster. We've cruised NCL many times. We've never done a long repositioning cruise.

Booked on Encore 4/7 - 4/28.

What differences should we expect from a normal 7-10 day cruise?

Older demographic. There is usually a lighter load, but your cruise is sold out. There will be a revolving door of guest entertainers, doing a few shows, then rotating off.

Your itinerary sounds wonderful.

We'll fit the demographic, and we are surprised it's sold out. The rotating entertainers is what we were curious about.

We really don't want to see the same comedian for 21-days.

Are you certain they do that?

I did a 15-day Panama Canal cruise earlier this month, once we got through the canal and made the first port stop after Panama the comedians from the first half of the cruise left the ship and 2 new ones came on for the second half of the cruise.

Thanks. Hopefully that will also happen in LA for the last week of the cruise.

They'll do it anywhere.  On my cruise it was done in Guatemala...
