sbnuggie Posted February 26 #1 Share Posted February 26 HOwdy, We will be sailing on the Pearl on August 28 2024 on the 9 day greek isles cruise. This is our first NCL cruise. We have always sailed Carnival as our kids were growing up and this is first cruise since 2018 so we've been out of the game for a bit. I was reading the ncl page and they posted all aboard times is 2 hours before sailing. It's a bit ambiguous but I'm ASS-uming that is for embarkation day only and not port days. Our experience has been typical all aboard times at ports vary from 30 minutes to an hours before published sailing times, hoping that is true on this cruise as well. I included the screen shot. Thanks for any info.
zqvol Posted February 26 #2 Share Posted February 26 You are correct. On board time at ports is generally 30 minutes before sail away. At tender ports last tender time might be an hour before sail away
Rare KeithJenner Posted February 26 #3 Share Posted February 26 Be careful in Santorini though, it can take a long while to get down the cable car to the tenders. It’s always worth researching what other ships are visiting and plan accordingly.

It takes bout 10 minutes and no wait for the cable car Edited February 29 by zqvol

It takes bout 10 minutes and no wait for the cable car I have done this and highly recommend against it. The trail is HOT, slippery, coated in donkey #1 and #2, and smelly. I watched a gentleman slip and scrape up his leg. The wound was full of crap, literally. NCL will advise passengers not to walk the trail. The line for the cable cars can be fierce; 1 - 2 hours. We did an excursion that returned us direct to the tender port.... this was the volcano hike. We took a small boat from/back to the tender port, avoiding the cable car debacle.
