Traffic into galveston on embark day

Recommended Posts

Hello! We are staying in a hotel in Baytown the Friday night before the cruise and I'm wondering what to expect as far as traffic and driving into Galveston on Saturday morning. If we have a check-in time of 10:30 for the Jubilee. On a normal day the drive is about 50 minutes . Wondering what time we need to leave . Thank you!

Always check for construction using TXDOT website. For Saturday morning, if Google says 50 minutes, I would give it an hour just for some padding.  Don't forget time to park and get to door of the terminal.  Also, at 10:30 there will be a line outside, by 10:45 that outside line will be shorter.  Once you get inside to the waiting area you will boarding by Group number, so being first in the door is not that big of a deal.
