Rare orangedec10 Posted March 1 #1 Share Posted March 1 Hello all! Headed on a Mexican Riviera cruise out of Long Beach in mid March. I’m a Floridian and have become a bit spoiled by typically driving directly to the port and experiencing similar weather as home for sail away. Can anyone tell me what to expect in terms of the weather on the first few days of that itinerary mid March? It seems like sweatshirt weather based upon what I see online. kdr69 Posted March 1 #2 Share Posted March 1 It can be cool but warms up quickly each day you get further south.
jsglow Posted March 1 #3 Share Posted March 1 Possible sweatshirt weather first and last day. Do know that the Pacific ocean water is significantly colder than you are used to.
Rare Saint Greg Posted March 1 #4 Share Posted March 1 Did it the first week of March in 2020. It was 54/66 embarkation day. First and last sea days people were wearing hoodies because it was cool and windy.

Mike45LC Posted March 1 #6 Share Posted March 1 I prefer a windbreaker or a hoodie for a March sailing out of L.A. That offers long sleeves, but also protection from light rains. For the first full day and for the last full day. Normally, the second day is warmer and pleasant.
