Tri County Airport Express, $18 per person.

When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "AIRPORT EXPRESS" in red on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you.

We used a limo service since there were seven of us (three small children) and all our luggage. It was about $90 ea. way plus tip--we gave $20 tip each way. They met us at the airport when we arrived and took us to our Miami hotel (we arrived a day early and left a day after the cruise) and picked us up at our hotel post-cruise on our departure day--were even there early. It was a good deal, convenient, and fun!

I booked through Limos.com and paid 50.00 each way!

Great price. What was the name of the limo company they referred to you? Was it a sedan or limosine? How long ago did you use the service? Thanks for sharing.

  • 2 weeks later...

We flew into FLL on March 25 and stayed at the La Quinta. We arranged to be picked up at the hotel on Sunday by limo for our trip to the Port of Miami. We used Limos of Miami http://www.limosofmiami.com The rate for a stretch limo for four people was $78 + 20% gratuity for a total of $102. The gratutiy is automatically added, and they told us about it when we were booking. We had a white stretch limo. The driver was right on time, was courteous, and helped us pose for pics (hubby & kids' first limo ride)!

We had also checked with Larry's Limos, but they didn't think we would fit into a town car with four people and luggage, and they couldn't guarantee that we would get a limo. They said it might be an SUV. When I asked if they meant a regular SUV or a stretch Hummer or something, they said a regular SUV. We ride in those all the time, so the rest of the family definitely didn't want to do that for the same price as a stretch limo!

Have fun!
