Double discount on beverage package?

Has anyone been able to score both the advertised current 20% discount on the beverage package plus the 15%discount offered to elites??

They have not stacked the discount, even accidentally, that I have heard of in a long time.

Never.  Have gotten the 15% on an upgrade when onboard to a package that was bought on a deal.

As indicated, it is an either / or situation - you either pay the discounted price through the planner (or on board if it is offered as such) -or- you use the Captain's Club discount.  

 

@Arizona Wildcat provides good information as well - you can buy the Classic via a promo, then apply the Captains Club offer as an upgrade value to Premium on board if that would net the better price for the Premium.
