Waitlisting Suites on a Booking

Recommended Posts

We have booked a cruise in May 2025 and asked our TA to book 2 Grandeur suites out of a list of 8 that we gave her. Only one of our choices was available. Does anyone know if Regent has a waitlist system for suites? We are low level Seven Seas Society members so have no pull there!

Our TA is out for surgery so I emailed Regent to ask the question but I'm guessing it could take a while to get an answer.

You can ask your TA to have Regent put you on a priority wait list if you are willing to put up a $1,000 deposit (which is refundable should you not be cleared or if you change your mind).  This puts you ahead of anyone who simply asked to be wait listed.

You can waitlist 6 different categories at once. A deposited ($1,000) waitlist position will clear first. There is one person who handles the WL and they will not release info about your position nor how they determine who gets the cabin.

Opinion - there is in internal VIP list based on SSS level, money spent recently, people who book named cabins and this factors in to the decision.
