We made the mistake of starting to collect the crystal ship models but they seem to have been phased out now. They have the larger ones in the pic with the Stanleys (the bear, not the mug) and some new pewter ones that look nice but $$$. I can take a pic of the pewter one the next time I walk by if you want. Rare CanadianBurger Posted March 17 Author #827 Share Posted March 17 Some deck pics from 17/18. I just noticed the self-serve drink machines today. Not sure if they just appeared, or if I missed them before. Last two are of the relatively empty Sanctuary. 6

So Discovery Princess recently had a self-serve soda machine installed near the Wake View bar where you scanned your medallion. Not sure this is the same.. Isn't Lara their juice offering? That's why no on knows about it.
Sox Fan Cruiser Posted March 17 #834 Share Posted March 17 How loud is it at the main pool. On other ships it can be quite loud with MUTS playing. Same on this ship?

DELLA1955 Posted March 17 #836 Share Posted March 17 Any idea how laundry service is? Have you tried it? Is it fast - can you get next day delivery or two day?
Rare CanadianBurger Posted March 17 Author #837 Share Posted March 17 (edited) I could lie here all afternoon… it’s nice and quiet with no attractions open. IMG_3547.mov Edited March 17 by CanadianBurger Edit: it was peaceful until the noisy teens showed up. But hey, it is Park19…

Rare CanadianBurger Posted March 17 Author #839 Share Posted March 17 Pub lunch day. Since I had the fish yesterday at O’Malley’s, I tried the corned beef. I was kind of expecting a sandwich based on the menu, but this arrived. I normally love corned beef, but I didn’t think this was very good. Too fatty, and the lean parts were tough. My wife had the fish, which was excellent and identical to yesterday’s. I’m glad I got the scotch egg yesterday. 1

Do you know if that self-serve coffee is available 24/7? DH is a "minus-0-dawn-thirty" riser so it would help if I had some idea of where to suggest he look for early coffee, please and thanks.

I’m surprised the wonderful space deck 17 forward at the SeaView bar is so empty. There are also washrooms on the starboard side which is nice. Lots of people in The Dome. How windy was it at the Seaview Bar area while sailing? (Might be the reason it's empty)

EDIT: Might only be open for drinks at 1:00. There's something written underneath the hours that becomes blurry when I enlarge it enough to read. Just happened to venture up to check out the wake view from up high. What a beautiful day. While I was up there, I got a better shot of the signature lounge. Rare CanadianBurger Posted March 17 Author #849 Share Posted March 17 (edited) The public washrooms on this ship are really nice, and numerous. They’re also all accessible. So when you see the sign and think it’s a single accessible washroom, it’s not. They’re all full sized with accessible stalls.
