Is the view completely obstructed, are some cabins better than others. This site shows photos passengers took of the deck 8 obstucted oceanview balcony cabins (DW/BW). Those cabins in the curved midship cabins only have an obstruction when looking down from the balcony’s railing & are unobstructed when looking outward. In those midship cabins (E403/404 to E411/412) also have larger balconies than the Royal-class standard balcony size of 9’x4’. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/ov.php?ship=Regal-Princess&cabins=E101-E230 Looking straight down from balcony railing seeing Promenade deck
RNRcruisers Posted March 8 #4 Share Posted March 8 It varies. We had one last month and it was quite obstructed. But if you can get one in between the lifeboats it isn't too bad. This was E623. Good for fresh air but not for a relaxing view.

The real perk with this cabin is to just bypass your muster in an emergency and hop over the rail into the lifeboat! 😄
