simon808 Posted March 13 #1 Share Posted March 13 I sailed on the Prima from Galveston at the end of February into March. We went on the Speedway, single rider and it was very slow in comparison to previous ships (Encore, Joy). It was so slow that we couldn't even catch up with each other, everyone just went round at the same speed with the pedal to the floor. The time board then showed the fastest laps of the cruise were 30 seconds quicker than what we all did. We asked the staff at the speedway desk and they said that to go faster you need to book the whole track on your own for an extra charge. We found this strange as the Prima has an even larger track than the Breakaway Plus class ships and therefore more space to overtake without collision. Does anyone know if this a new policy for the Speedway across all NCL ships or was this specific to the Prima?

Rare shof515 Posted March 13 #4 Share Posted March 13 When nascar races at super speedways like Daytona and talladega, the cars go around 190mph. Very fast
