LIVE 🚢🎉🥳🍾⛵️Allure of the Seas - April 5, 2024

Recommended Posts

We ended up spending about two hours at Margaritaville. We normally love these hotels. We have made a few visits to the one in Hollywood, Fl. This one was just oversold. We got there at 10 am and the tiny beach area was packed. We were able to get a few seats by the lazy river. Our server was a trip. We asked him about wi-FI and he took our phones to log us in. Mr. IT being well Mr. IT was very unhappy about this. Even I wondered for a moment while he had Mr. It’s phone for a beat. We ordered 4 drinks and a terrible appetizer. We had originally planned to have lunch there but after the app decided against it. Well when I asked our trippy server about the check he informed me no charge just leave him a tip. Like I said he was a trip. Super friendly but with that sketchy layer. We gave him $40 and headed back to the ship.

DUPABLE here

My job while denversail and Mr IT enjoy the Caribbean was to watch over the dogs.  Unfortunately no pics available as yet.  Wolf has decided he loves peace and quiet and playing his games so has not wanted to leave the house.   Pictures tomorrow for sure !

Our first attempt to get to the ship was a failure. We pulled off into this place and are now going to make a second attempt. I think we have the correct address now. Thank you FB!

Another validation for why I am going to handle logistics to/from our ship....this seems to be a trend for you.  That reminds me....I better get that booked

OMG denversail did that to us also.   She was doing a back to back and Wolf and I flew out to spend the second week.   She told us the address which we gave to our Uber driver.  He circled around the terminal , stopped and announced we had to get out !  Turned out we were about a half mile from the ship.  Luckily we were able to flag down a taxi who knew where to go.  Denversail is NOT to be trusted with directions.

Thought I would be picking up Wolf to hang out, Pokemon, whatever.  Tomorrow he works so I will be over to check on dogs.

So are you saying you’ve delegated dog care to Wolf?

She is working hard. All that complaining and she hasn’t even checked on my dogs since I left.

I was not with her when this happened. I did not give her an address. I was on a ship making her dinner reservations for the week and wasn’t available to assist her in finding her way. This somehow made it all my fault. 🤷‍♀️

Not sure if it is the passage of time or the alcohol but her memory is very wrong on this one.  She definitely told us the pier number? or some sort of address.   And lets not forget the time when due to her poor planning we actually had to WALK 3 miles to the ship dragging our luggage.  That was an experience we will never forget.

I had nothing to do with the pier number or address. The other situation was 1 mile NOT 3.

Mr. IT and I decided to spend 45 minutes in the casino before dinner. We sat down with two old men. It was pleasant enough at first but then… the crankier of the two tried to tell the other one how to play his cards. All hell broke loose… the FU’s were flying. Mr. IT and I of course started chanting… FIGHT.. FIGHT. They just continued with the back and forth insults. One of them stormed off and the other was using a wheel chair and had no chance of making chase. It ended there. Oh well maybe next time. 🤣🤣

The grumpy in the chair started the night cursing "Where's the F'ng smoking section?   To your Roger kind sir, out that door and to the elevator,  what floor are you staying on?

Last time we sailed out of Port Canaveral there was a launch.  I don’t know the exact time, but it was right before the early seating of dinner.  We were able to view the launch from the ship.  It was so amazing!  We live in Orlando, so see launches often, but this was a really cool experience.  I hope you get to see this launch.  Space X is pretty reliable as long as weather conditions are good

@klb1978 We live in Orlando as well, and no matter how many times we see a launch (great view from our condo's parking lot), it still gives me a thrill! Our last sailing we were so excited as there was a launch scheduled but scrubbed at the last minute. Crossing our fingers for our upcoming Allure the week of the 19th!

Warmest Amy

Have to say this is the most fun-and-drama filled review I've read ever. I am having so much fun with my figurative popcorn in hand. Honestly , the ship is not the main character here - it's you!!!

Can't wait to hear more; warmest Amy
