Seward: any recommendations place for a birthday dinner? Or where to get a small cake/pastries?

Hi fellow CC'ers, would love to hear Seward restaurants recommendations and/or some alternatives for some sweet pastries.. for a family birthday, might be a dinner, might be just a piece of cake on the hotel room depending how the day goes.

I was in Seward a few years ago, and I fell in love with, The Cookery. One of my favorite all-time restaurants. I was only in Seward 4 days, and I went twice. Highly recommend. If I lived in Alaska, that's where I'd go for my birthday dinner!
