Ferry from pier 11 to Brooklyn cruise terminal

Recommended Posts

sailing from Brooklyn terminal Sept 7 on Enchanted Princess , looking to stay night before in lower Manhattan ,ground aero area . Is the Ferry to the Cruise terminal fairly easy to navigate or would a taxi be better , 2 people in their 60's no mobility issues .

thanks in advance

It couldn't be easier. This video shows literally every step of the trip from Pier 11 to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal:

Absolutely agree. Although we have yet to do the Pier 11 to Red Hook trip, we have used the ferry across the Hudson from Weehawken to near the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, and the process seems identical. The ferry access is easy and level on both ends even for those, like us, who are dragging big suitcases. We did it early on a Saturday morning and the ferry was virtually empty.

Lower Manhattan is ideal for overnight stay before sailing from Brooklyn terminal.  A few interesting sites, many good restaurants, a range of hotels from low price to fairly posh, safe neighborhood - and very easy ferry trip on sailing day.
