JaxonSaxon Posted May 11 #1 Share Posted May 11 (edited) I'm disembarking the Royal Princess tomorrow morning and need to make my way to Seward. I saw a very old thread on the subject here: The last update was from 2013 and it appeared that the cheapest option at the time was either Seward Bus Lines or a shared taxi. The bus cost 60$ and the taxi (a van) 250$, split five ways (50$ each). Is this information still accurate? I cannot contact the bus company at all. Also, are any other passengers interested in sharing a taxi to Seward? I'm travelling alone and would like to pool costs with as many others as possible. Rare Coral Posted May 11 #2 Share Posted May 11 I would probably take cruise like transfers to Anchorage and then train to Seward. You will probably need to spend the night in Anchorage though as the train to Seward is early. I haven't taken Seward bus lines - maybe that time works with your schedule. Are you catching a ship in Seward? If so, you can probably get a cruise line transfer that way once in Anchorage.
Suzanne123 Posted May 11 #3 Share Posted May 11 Have you tried the Park Connection Bus? https://www.alaskatravel.com/transportation/whittier-seward/
AKStafford Posted May 12 #4 Share Posted May 12 My personal preference would be transportation to Anchorage and renting a car, if any are still available. Otherwise: https://www.redeyeridesllc.com/ https://www.pjstaxi.net/
