As Horseman said, its open. But the St Regis dominates a good portion of the beach now with their own chairs, service, and their infinity pools butting up on it etc which the public doesn't have access to. While it is all technically public there is a good 3/4 of the beach where you feel like a bit of an outsider if you aren't staying at the St Regis.

Thank you! There is public access to the beach but the public can not use the hotel amenities that are on the beach. There are no chair rentals or facilities for the public. Nana57 Posted May 15 Author #5 Share Posted May 15 Thank you! We were there years ago when they had food and there was a very nice parrot who loved to talk.

That has been gone a very long time. The Club Med which had been a Holiday Inn was demolished in 2008 and all that ended sometime before that. I was there when they had food but I don’t recall what year, likely 2001 or 2002. (I don’t recall a parrot) Edited May 15 by Charles4515

The Achilles restaurant which is next door to Fort St. Catherine has opened in the space of the former Blackbeards restaurant. https://www.royalgazette.com/local-business/business/article/20240603/former-blackbeards-restaurant-reopens-with-new-name-and-look/
