Because that is Thanksgiving week, it's not too soon to book a hotel room. Priceline is the best for getting a good hotel at a great value. 3* Downtown hotels are the Marriott Marina, Embassy Suites and sometimes the Renaissance (sometimes 4*). The 2* hotel is Amerisuites which is a great buy if you can get it. Ft. Lauderdale Beach area 3* are the Sheratons and the Doubltree Suites, with the only 4* being the Hyatt. Check out biddingfortravel, biddingforfun and other sites. Also, valuetrips.com usually has Amerisuites and Hotwire.com is a good option too.

Bon Voyage

Hi,

We will be cruising Nov. 27th, (Legend for you too)

We booked already with Comfort Inn Airport/cruise port. We will be driving in and they let you keep car there in short term parking for $6.00 day and free shuttle to port. AAA or senior rate (on website) was $76.49 plus tax. It's only 4 miles from port if that. A nice comp breakfast also.

Let me know if you are going to Panama. Happy cruising.

We are also cruising on November 27th!!!

We live in Boca Raton FL so don't have to worry about a hotel.

If you are flying in, any hotel on 17th St. will work for the cruise. These are the closest to the port. Last year before moving here, we stayed at the La Quinta Hollywood/Airport that I got on Hotwire for $50.00 and we were able to leave our car there for FREE!!! They did have a free shuttle to the ship, but you had to get a cab back. It ran us around $20.00 which was lot cheaper than parking at $12.00 a day!!!

We will have to get a roll call going again. We had one a few months ago, but it's OLD now!

We have about 30 of us cruising together for my BIL wedding on board the Legend. Can't wait!!

We used priceline for our pre and post cruise stays in FLL next January.

Staying at the Wydham/airport pre for $55 a night and the Sheraton/airport post for $60 a night.

This is our first time in FLL so I hope everything is fine.
