alrose251 Posted May 22 #1 Share Posted May 22 Hi, I am planning a cruise to Greece in a few months, and I do not know where to start. I know nothing about Greece except it is beautiful and I want to visit! The cruise leaves from Athens. I would like to visit Santorini for 1 or 2 days then head to Athens for a day or 2 before boarding the ship. I would like some advice on where (some links would be appreciated) to search to get my bearings on what there is to see, affordable hotels, transportation etc. I know these boards have a wealth of knowledge and I will do plenty of searching once I get a grip on these two cities. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

mapleleaves Posted May 22 #3 Share Posted May 22 There are travel books specific to Med cruises. They are a great resource. The books provide detailed info about sights, activities, history, DIY options, tours, etc for the popular ports. ie: Rick Steves ... Mediterranean cruise ports, Ann Vipond Mediterranean by cruiseship
