How is the lobster?

Recommended Posts

Had lobster in the MDR  and The Catch on the Sky Princess last week, the lobster was chewy and not cooked very well in either restaurant unfortunately.

Probably will not find that in Maine.

Sure you can. Most places serve them both ways and you have a choice. I definitely prefer the butter and lobster only version of the roll. DH likes the Mayo version.

Sometimes the menu will differentiate them with regional names.  Warm with butter, no mayo is called a Connecticut-style lobster roll and cold with Mayo and often celery and tarragon is called a Maine-style lobster roll. Having grown up in the town that invented the delicacy, I favor the Connecticut style.
