KBC73 Posted May 30 #202 Share Posted May 30 Any chance you have been to the piano bar? I would like to know who the piano player is. We are doing this cruise shortly and hope we don't have the weather you did heading into Sydney. Your pictures are amazing.

Rare Rubyfisch Posted May 30 Author #206 Share Posted May 30 Last night, dinner was good, but it was so slow. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizers. I really wanted to make the 9:00 pm show. We made it by grabbing our desserts and taking them with us. Our waiter were super apologetic. It sounded like a bunch of people ordered the strip steak and that slowed everything down. Thankfully, we both had ice cream. Also, in all this clatter, I forgot to get the lido menus .... MDR menus: Salmon chowder: Half eaten (oops ...) salmon (this was very good - also, this was regular rice, not cauliflower rice, which was fine by me): Not pictured - the cookies and cream sundae, which was really good: 5
Rare Rubyfisch Posted May 30 Author #207 Share Posted May 30 So, I do not understand the show timing versus the traditional dining times. We have late traditional at 7:30. This means we cannot go to the early show at 7:30 (obviously). We we also many nights won't make the late show at 9:00, as dinner sometimes takes until after that. I don't understand why either the early show isn't earlier or the late show isn't a little bit later. I'm used to Royal, where if you have late dining, you go to the show and then right to dinner. It seems perfect. This seems like a bit of a mess.
Rare Rubyfisch Posted May 30 Author #208 Share Posted May 30 We did make it to Breton Thunder, and they were great. I was sad we missed the first show (we didn't get out of dinner on time ...): 4
