Cinnamon2 Posted May 24 #1 Share Posted May 24 I know this has been discussed before but cannot find it via search. Are the doors magnetic? We are going on a family cruise and have 5 cabins. I want to put some kind of decorative magnets on our doors so the littles recognize their cabins.
Old Fart Cruisers Posted May 24 #2 Share Posted May 24 Yes, a good strong magnet will stick to them. I have also used "balloon dots" to help hold decorations on the door. They hold great and are really easy to remove from doors or walls with no sticky residue. https://a.co/d/28Sa5Ko

Cinnamon2 Posted May 24 Author #4 Share Posted May 24 (edited) Thank you OFC and mz-s for the information. All that I wish to do is put up a few cute magnetic pictures of animals or cruising themed items. Similar to refrigerator magnets, maybe a little larger. Mike45LC Posted May 25 #5 Share Posted May 25 The doors are not magnetic, but they are ferromagnetic. That means that a magnet will stick to them. 1

Wow, never thought of it that way. Thanks for the clarification. I should have asked if the doors were metal and if magnets will stick to them. All set, thanks everyone!
