Vatxal Posted May 31 #1 Share Posted May 31 We will arrive in Boston for the day of the Pride Festival. We were planning to call a ride share to get to the Constitution and later back to the port from the North end. Will we have any trouble getting an uber ? TIA

Cruise Terminal? Elsewhere? The parade is in the Back Bay/Copley area of Boston, so much of the city won't be affected by the pageantry.

They also run a fun little ferry from Charlestown Navy Yard to Long Wharf coming back which is adjacent and walkable to the North End-- worth doing. Sort of a cheap mini harbor cruise. We were concerned that ubers might concentrate in the Festival area. Thank you.

We plan to use the ferry after we visit the Constitution. We have also read about the water taxi as a means of returning to the seaport . We previously used the T to return to the ship but were concerned with the effects of the festival crowds on this day. We have not visited during a large event before. Shouldn't make much of a difference for you-- on the opposite side of town and you have a clear corridor to get from Charlestown/North End back to South Boston.
