Was Spellbound open outside of show hours? I am on the verge of booking for my birthday but wonder if we can visit the bar even if the show is sold out. They even have gatekeepers who escort the dinner party from the special deck 8 aft dining area to Spellbound. The door is opened by only the gatekeeper. So, I believe there is no access outside of purchasing the experience - but, IMHO it was worth it!

Some people liked it, some people didnt. I personally believe it is way overpriced for what you get, especially if you already have a drinks package. For a 5/6 hour 'event'....most of it is just sitting at the bar. The meal was mediocre, The magic was very short. The cocktails were presented well, but tasted meh! It was bitterly disappointing.

It equivalent to paying extra on top of the Plus or Premier package ! You would think they would discount it a little.

That being said, I am trying to book for my upcoming cruise and it seems to be close to sold out for the entire sailing. So the price point must be working. The pricing seems to be working.....and did for me......because its sold as a whole evening, Its not just dinner.....its a whole evening.....up until midnight. It SOUNDS like youre getting a lot for the money. Nope. 4 hours sitting at a bar doing nothing but drinking and talking. I can do that anywhere on the ship. Im happy to help the cruise industry get back on its feet after covid.....even paying a little more,,,,,but I object to being ripped off. And this was a complete rip off. 1
