Above all, we really enjoyed the new beverage menus with almost 200 new cocktails to try (and Spellbound cocktails were amazing!)

Was Spellbound open outside of show hours? I am on the verge of booking for my birthday but wonder if we can visit the bar even if the show is sold out.

When we were on board, access to Spellbound was only through purchasing the experience. They even have gatekeepers who escort the dinner party from the special deck 8 aft dining area to Spellbound. The door is opened by only the gatekeeper. So, I believe there is no access outside of purchasing the experience - but, IMHO it was worth it!

No...you cant go into the Spellbound Bar unless you have booked the evening.

Some people liked it, some people didnt.
I personally believe it is way overpriced for what you get, especially if you already have a drinks package. For a 5/6 hour 'event'....most of it is just sitting at the bar.
The meal was mediocre,
The magic was very short.
The cocktails were presented well, but tasted meh!

It was bitterly disappointing.

It equivalent to paying extra on top of the Plus or Premier package ! You would think they would discount it a little.

Sounds like a victim of too much hype

I agree - it would make sense if they had pricing for those with Plus/Premier, and a price for those without. That being said, I am trying to book for my upcoming cruise and it seems to be close to sold out for the entire sailing. So the price point must be working.

The pricing seems to be working.....and did for me......because its sold as a whole evening, Its not just dinner.....its a whole evening.....up until midnight.
It SOUNDS like youre getting a lot for the money. Nope. 4 hours sitting at a bar doing nothing but drinking and talking. I can do that anywhere on the ship.

Im happy to help the cruise industry get back on its feet after covid.....even paying a little more,,,,,but I object to being ripped off. And this was a complete rip off.
