This visit was an “accident” after Venice was cancelled. Only two other ships here all month. Locals are obviously very intrigued. A very sweet man and his son stopped us and in their best attempt at English asked us all about the ship and the cruise, it was very wholesome

Thoughts, comments, highlights…

 

- I like Norwegian so far! This is my first non- Carnival cruise. Spinnaker is great. The area at the back is awesome. The pools are big. And Bar City is fun. 
 

- Highlights of today included the sunset sail away, the sleep chamber’s bed, my pizza dinner, sit down lunch, and the server who REALLY did not want Party P to leave the dining room for some reason and kept trying to entice us with more food and drinks. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

 

- The Diet Coke on this ship is definitely Coke Zero, but I can’t complain! I’m just SO happy they have Coke products. Huge win for NCL. Team DC forever. 🫶🏻

 

I was home and in bed with my kindle by 10:30, but I passed out before reading a word. OOPSIE. 👵🏻 Night, y’all! 

I’d be interested in your comparison of Carnival vs NCL. We have not sailed Carnival since 2013 and have kind of settled on NCL as “our” cruise line after also sailing Celebrity and MSC. But Paul’s Venezia review has me rethinking maybe trying an Italian themed Carnival ship. We don’t get Casino deals, so the cheers package added to the Carnival fare is always a bit of sticker shock compared to NCL.
