Can passengers with and without their medallions stay together?

Recommended Posts

We are taking a cruise with our friends and they need to pick up their medallion at the port and we already have ours.  Can we stay with them in the blue lane or can we meet past that point to board together?  Thank you

In my experience, picking up a medallion at the port takes about 5 minutes.  Your friends will go to a table/counter that has different sections by last name, alphabetically, they'll tell them their name, the staff will find the proper medallion and give it to them.  You just stand in the back and when everyone has the medallion, off you go to the ship.  This is a bit oversimplified, but not by much.  Don't sweat it.
