worldtraveller99 Posted June 15 #1 Share Posted June 15 Will be our first Cunard cruise. I see there are lots of shows, entertainment - eg Bright Lights, activities - eg trivia. How and when do we book for all these - is this possible? If not, do we have to go to each venue half an hour before the time on the daily programme, just to get a seat? Does seem we would be sitting around a lot? What do you think?
Bell Boy Posted June 15 #2 Share Posted June 15 (edited) If you're referring to Queen Anne , there is only the need to pre book for 'Bright Lights society , the exact times ( two show per evening) will be advised in your daily program , I've not mentioned the times as they could be subject to change. There is no need to book for theatre performances or even trivia which takes place in the Golden Lion Pub . Maybe Trivia could be popular then you'll have to manage that on the day . worldtraveller99 Posted June 15 Author #3 Share Posted June 15 Thank you - how do we book Bright Lights? (not on a mobile phone!)
watsonbeau Posted June 15 #4 Share Posted June 15 I’d suggest ringing or going to pursers to book if you don’t use a mobile. Hope this helps
Rare Pushpit Posted June 15 #5 Share Posted June 15 If you bring a tablet, laptop or some e-readers then you can usually access the same "app" as on mobile phones. It's not actually an app, it's an intranet portal so you just log in via the local wifi service. That area is free. But unlike some lines Cunard doesn't make it a requirement to use a mobile, there are ways to do things without it. 1
Rare 57eric Posted June 16 #6 Share Posted June 16 Regarding the remaining activities, yes, in a few cases you will have to show up 30 minutes ahead of time, but it's nearly to impossible to predict which ones. Fifteen minutes should suffice in most cases.
