European championship

Is the european championship broadcast on board (on tv or in one of the bars.)?

(specifically Pursuit)

It wasn't on the Journey last week. The US open golf was advertised and shown on the tv on Deck 5 but no football

They need to buy special licence feeds for big sporting events. I know it ran into £000s to get the World Cup games. It’s not something they can fix onboard if the game isn’t being shown within their regular package

Not on Onward this last week...missed both Scottish games.....maybe missing the first one was a blessing, but would have loved to see last night's match.😃

You might also have enjoyed the game at teatime today for other reasons 🙂

Disappointed the Scotland Germany match was not televised on the Journey last week. Bought the Germany home shirt intending to use it both for the White Night and the match and only got one wear out of it!!

 

Still not overly bothered, after all by default the Scottish team at tournaments tend to only get 3 chances to wear theirs

If you'd really thought this through, you may have realised we actually get to wear ours at least 6 times on the rare occasions we qualify for such tournaments. Indeed, at the 2020 tournament despite not participating (held in 2021) we got to wear it all the way to the semi finals. 😉

 

We ditched it for the final though, purchasing Italy shirts en masse....all sports outlet queues were spilling onto the streets and parking lots in Scotland! What a wonderful occasion the final turned out to be, those shirts were worth every penny....I still have mine framed on the wall.
