Sky Class Junior Suite on Utopia of the Seas

Why are the Sky Class Jr. Suites more expensive than the Grand Suite 1 Bedroom?

 

Is it location?  The Jr. Suites are smaller but mid ship and the Grand Suites are on the aft?

GS's are in the suite neighborhood just outside the SL/CK and right below the suite sun deck... that's the MUCH BETTER location in my book.

 

It's likely just the supply & demand algorithm.

I booked a Grand Suite  for next March.  The Sky Jr. Suite  was less for that cruise.

Sold out now and there was also a Aqua Suite 1 bedroom available at only $400 more than the Sky Jr. Suite - go figure!  Both sold out now.

I saw similar pricing when I was looking for November when a CL was about the same as a Sky JS which was more than the GS and OS. Let me see if I can think of more acronyms. 😀
