dawntrdr Posted June 26 #1 Share Posted June 26 (edited) My prior experience with Silversea has been that the last day to cancel without penalty (other than the $250 pp) was 151 days before sailing and payment in full was due 120 days before sailing. Those are definitely the terms on my Oct 1, 2024 voyage, which I booked in August 2023. I booked a September 3, 2025 cruise today, and the last day to cancel without penalty is April 5, 2025 (151 days before sailing) and payment in full is due April 6, 2025 (150 days). I checked the Terms and Conditions on the website and yes, indeed, payment in full is now required 150 days before sailing. The $250 penalty cancellation deadline remains at 151 days. There used to be a "Last Updated" date on the Terms and Conditions but no more, so I can't tell when this changed. mchell810 Posted June 26 #2 Share Posted June 26 I made a booking Feb of this year and final payment was at the usual 120 days before sailing. My guess is SS made the change to 150 days when they introduced the 3-tier pricing in mid-March.
CruzinFeraBruzin Posted June 26 #3 Share Posted June 26 We booked a cruise onboard April 19 and it still had the old payment terms with payment in full due 120 days before sail. This change is very recent.
goofysmom99 Posted June 27 #4 Share Posted June 27 Very recent. I booked a 2026 cruise 2 weeks ago (10 Jun) and confirmation invoice has final payment at 120 days.
zqtchas Posted June 27 #5 Share Posted June 27 Just canceled 2 cruises. If you cancel near the deadline check closely. I caught them choosing the high side.
