Solo Cruiser on NCL Bliss

I will be cruising solo on the Bliss for the first time. Are there any special meet n greets for solos? Any special activities or get togethers? Do they have solo or shared tables in the MDR or specialty restaurants? I will not be in a solo cabin, just a regular balcony cabin.

There is a daily solo meet. Probably around 5-ish if I rember correctly, probably in the solo lounge. (They will let you in.) It's pretty common that people from the solo group go together for dinner, but I don't think MDR has any "earmarked" shared tables.

The Freestyle Daily will tell you what time a where the solo meet-ups are.  Usually about 5:30 P.M. either in the Solo Lounge or near one of the bars.

 

Also go on the Roll Call section of this forum and look for your specific cruise.  There may be other solo cruisers posting there.

Yes solo meet ups before dinner and then usually go to dinner as a group. You can also ask for a shared table at the MDR and they will send any other solos that ask to it.

I often ask to sit at a shared table in an MDR.  Sometimes one is available and sometimes not.  Usually, it is a table for six or eight with a mix of solos and couples.

Join the roll call for your sailing. A good way to possibly "meet" other solos, maybe find private excursions, hotel/transportation ideas, etc.

Yes, to nightly solo gathering.  Check the dailies for time and location.  Another way to "meet" other solos other than the roll call here is on FB.  There is usually a group or page for your sailing.  Just do a search for NCL Bliss and your departure date.
