What to order at Ocean Blue

Let's see, what are signature dish(es) at NCL's (once) highly rated specialty restaurants ... with the new "limited" 2024 menus.

Paloma - Filet Mignon / Veal Milanese (and) Salt baked Whole Fish (Sea Brass)

Ocean Blue (seafood) - Beef Filet

La Cucina - Beef Fillet

Cagney's Steakhouse - Dover Sole / Grilled Fisherman's Platter

Hmmm.

I think I see what you did there...

The two seafood-oriented restaurants and the Italian restaurant have beef/meat.

The steak place has fish.

What's next? Tacos at Tepanyaki? Sushi at La Cucina?

Although we enjoy the food in Ocean Blue ( ate there twice on the Joy last month),

the cioppino was indeed a sad little bowl, and I would not order it again.

My daughter liked the scallops and I liked the sea bass. Didn’t try the lobster. I have never found lobster on a cruise ship to be worthwhile.

Bang Bang Shrimp, then the gumbo, then the filet. Everytime. One time I did order the roasted chicken because I wanted to see what $30 chicken tasted like.  It was good but the steak is better. I could go for just the shrimp appetizer.

We enjoy the spicy shrimp appetizer too.  Now, it looks like another good starter, the gumbo, is  no longer available😒

We enjoyed Ocean Blue for our first time on the Getaway although my parents did order the fried seafood feast and thought there was too much breading. I ordered the ciopino and thought it was excellent. I got the spicy shrimp and crabcake or lobster bisque as appetizer. I was happy. Great dinner on the waterfront. I think next time I may try one of thier grilled fish options.
