Balcony room for 3 on Oasis class ships

not in my experience--and I've slept on a JS sofa bed, or had someone in my party sleep on it, three different times.  Oasis class and Navigator were the ships.

Just off Harmony.  DS (6'0"/150#) didn't have any issues on the sofa.  He just slept on top of it.  Cabin Steward said they only "open" it if there's a 4th person.  

 

DW and I both felt the mattresses on the bed were hard.  I'd be more worried about those than the couch.
