Are We Able to Leave the Ship After Boarding on Embarkation Day?

I do wonder about getting from pan am pier into osj....is it just an Uber ride because it looks too far to walk?

Sail away may not be until 8, but all aboard is generally well before that as the port staff leave by 5.

When we have sailed from San Juan I don't recall being told that we had to be aboard that early before sailaway. You may be correct but I don't remember being told that. Of course, it didn't matter to me anyway. I'm one of those who likes to board as early as possible.

If you want to explore, your best bet is to arrive a day early. If it's a closed loop cruise, add a day after disembarkation.

Definitely NOT true.  Keep in mind that Ravenna cruise port is several miles from the center of Ravenna and taxis are somewhat scarce.
